Season of Self is a series of online Zoom circles that combine the grounding wisdom of Chinese medicine with the therapeutic power of authentic connection and holistic psychotherapy.

In this unique 5-session Zoom series, we’ll journey through the Five Elements of Chinese medicine—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each element serves as a gateway to explore psycho emotional forces, seasonal shifts, and the ways they reflect our inner lives.

Together, we’ll hold space for real, raw, and meaningful conversations. At its heart, this series is about creating a safe, nurturing space where you can be real—exploring whatever is present for you in the moment. Each gathering invites you to share, reflect, and discover insights alongside others who are also navigating their own paths. Together, we’ll explore the Five Elements of Chinese medicine, their connection to the seasons, and the emotional forces they illuminate.

This journey will be deeply personal to you. Not a one size fits all. The elements we explore will resonate differently with every person and allow each individual go on a deeper exploration of their own self. This is group therapy and self-enquiry, as well as an opportunity to connect deeper to the elemental forces around us and within us. We’ll learn and be inspired by each other.

For the first series of Seasons of Self, where we’ll explore the wisdom of the Metal element and its connection to autumn and the emotion of grief.

Autumn is a time of release—a season of letting go, clearing space, and finding clarity amidst the shifts and changes of life. The Metal element reflects this process, inviting us to honour what has been, embrace what is, and uncover the beauty and strength in both our vulnerability and resilience.

If you long to deepen your relationship with grief, understand its movements and mechanisms in your being and be held in a space where tender emotions are honoured, this series offers a sanctuary—a community of kindred souls ready to explore life’s most vulnerable truths together.

Meet your guide

Hannah is a certified holistic psychotherapist and Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner, deeply curious about the ways our emotions and physical patterns intertwine. In her work, she’s seen how self-discovery and transformation are most powerful when we bring awareness to both body and mind.

She’s passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where people can show up authentically, explore their inner landscapes, and connect with the wisdom that already exists within them. The Open Circle is a reflection of this passion—a place for real, meaningful connection and the exploration of what it means to be human.
